I am a PhD student at the University of Sheffield in the UK. I study spatiotemporal system identification with application to biomedical signals.

I freelance as a webdesigner which has involved:

• being half of aspirationDiktat.co.uk
• creating the Sheffield Space Systems Group website
• organising the aforementioned vkwiki, which is a collaborative space for members of my supervisor's group to write down and share ideas and code and literature and so on...
• writing (and being proud of) the UK delocator, which is a community driven database of UK cafes centred around the googlemap
• designing BargainBooks4U.co.uk which is a promotional website for a company which sells text books (cheaply) through amazon z-shops. They also got me to make a database application for them, but that's not online. The database application involves interfacing a MySQL database with a web-based front-end, using PHP. This is easily the biggest piece of software I've ever written - next time I'll be using templates and objects....
